We are often asked if we have a minimum quantity that we will run.. the answer is yes.. 1!
We have single head machines which are set up to run backorders, small orders, or larger orders with significant numbers of threads used.
Where we are doing flat work (garments bags etc) we have a minimum charge of $10.00. This applies per design, to cover the overhead of the pre-production sample, administration of the job, and applies on any qty up until the per unit price value is more than $10.
For example, a run costing $2.40 ea to sew would be charged at $10.00 for any quantity up to 5 units, where it would then be charged as $12.00.
If there are 11 colours in a design, and 20 garments in the run, we will run these on our ZSK single head machine instead of changing 11 threads on 8 heads of a production machine, the changeover time on the threads in this instance would take far longer than the run time of the job.
With caps, we will also have a minimum charge, which is related to the sew price. As all our caps are run on the 8 head production machine, we will charge a minimum run of 8 caps.
For example, a run costing $2.40 ea to sew would be charged at $19.20 for any quantity up to and including 8 caps.
