WELCOME

Where did we come from?
You have never heard of us?
The odds are good that you have worn something we have manufactured!
Working quietly behind the scenes, Images began in 1974 on the kitchen table with Mal & Judi, $20 and a need to provide for a young family.
The first products were knucklebones and marble bags, followed by a range of dolls, bow ties, bags etc.
From these early beginnings, the screen printing business grew with our first client - Rosanne Dowland Designs - and the arrival of a 4 colour carousel.
Fast Forward to the eighties where we ran a TAS 10 colour jumbo screen printing machine (the largest in the southern hemisphere), a precision 8 colour oval machine, a custom built gas fired curing tunnel, 2 x 6 colour and 2 x 4 colour manual carousels.
With a reputation built on quality, dependability and PICA and SPA award winning screen printing capabilities, our customers soon began requesting us to look at embroidery services, to match our printing results.
This lead us to investigate embroidery and digitising and as our artwork history was all illustrator and Mac based, we located a digitising package called Punto.
In conjunction with a Toyota 830 single head embroidery machine, we began teaching ourselves this new art.
Fast Forward again to the year 2004, and with growing pains due to the handwritten record system that had served us well over the previous 30 years, Marcus joined the team in the role of Production Manager.
With his graphic design background, and having developed databases and networking infrastructures for Worldwide Online Printing, and Sun Industries Pty Ltd., the logical next step was to computerise the job records and tracking systems. This introduced .pdf art proofs for every job, labels on all stock inwards and outwards, at-a-glance job status information, and emailed job completion notices.
Due to the entirely digital nature of the information with embroidery work, this side of the business was fairly easy to move forward to this next level. The challenges for the printing side of the business were more substantial.
At this stage the decision was made to sell the screen printing side of the business, and concentrate on growth with the embroidery capabilities.
The database is in constant development adding new features to allow our customers more responsive service and added value, with 6 years worth of production records now online, searchable, and repeatable, our job history is invaluable!
Our production capability has continued to grow, as we expanded from the original single head Toyota machines to our first 12 head Tajima, and then on to our workhorses, the ZSK 8 head tubular frame machine. With 4 of these 8 head machines, and a ZSK 15 head, along with ZSK single head capability, we have consistency of production across all of these machines.
We have 64 heads in the building at present, which gives us a maximum capability of around 350 average sized embroideries PER HOUR!!
We have a dedicated cap machine and provide cap embroidery services to a number of retail embroidery businesses.
We have the flexibility to work on a number of different jobs simultaneously, or cope with those URGENT got to have 1,000 done today requests.
So how does that sound to you? want to hear more?
We are actively working towards greening Australia, planting trees and re-vegetating old dairy farmland. We have around 375 trees planted so far this year, with several thousand seedlings being raised to continue these efforts!
One small way we are giving back to this country we are so proud of!
We look forward to standing behind these words, and making them a reality in support of YOUR business.
